Mobile Application Privacy Policy
Effective Date: July 28, 2026 • Senslyy Mobile Client Standard
1. Scope & Objective
This Mobile Privacy Policy applies specifically to the Sensly Mobile Application (available on the Google Play Store as com.senslyy.app). Our mobile client is designed for field researchers, interviewers, and survey respondents (referred to as "Field Users" or "Normal Users") to complete census maps and structured questionnaire forms.
Unlike our web platform console which caters to tenant owners and administrators, the mobile client is structured exclusively to download survey forms, run our server-driven UI engine, and securely submit response data back to the platform.
2. Sensitive Permissions & Data Collection
To execute survey fieldwork, verify data integrity, and support offline audit capabilities, the Senslyy Mobile Application requests access to the following device permissions:
GPS & Location Services
We collect precise GPS coordinates (latitude, longitude, accuracy) when you submit a survey form. This ensures survey responses match the designated geographical sample areas (CAPI validation). We do not track your location in the background when the app is closed.
Camera Access
Used to capture visual verification photos (e.g., household structures, landmark verification, or barcode scans) explicitly requested within your assigned survey questionnaire forms.
Audio & Microphone Access
Permits the recording of audio responses or short interview audit segments to check quality and verify that questions are read correctly, purely based on survey design parameters.
Device Storage & Offline Database
Saves downloaded survey templates and logs pending offline responses locally in an encrypted SQLite database on your device. This ensures you can work without a cellular connection.
3. Data Syncing & Storage Security
Once a network connection is available, pending responses cache is transmitted securely to our platform's backend using SSL/TLS 1.3 encryption.
All stored survey responses are isolated using Postgres Row Level Security (RLS) policies configured on our Cloud Engine servers. Only authorized supervisors and organization admins within your tenant workspace have permission to view your submissions.
4. User Control & Data Deletion Rights
As a normal field user, you have absolute control over your device permissions. You can revoke Location, Camera, or Microphone permissions at any time through your Android System Settings (Settings > Apps > Sensly > Permissions).
To request deletion of your field account credentials or submitted survey media logs from our cloud database, please contact your workspace administrator or submit a deletion request to:
devv@senslyy.com
5. Developer Disclosure Statement
The Senslyy Mobile Client does not lease, sell, or trade user location profiles or media captures to advertising brokers. All collected details are used solely to satisfy the specific scientific or business research parameters of the survey tenant organizer.
